My career path... Uni drop out, two years of temping, four years document production with a three month gap working for my uncle, then IT tech support for the last 9 years. 2nd attempt at uni resulted in another drop out, 2003/2004. !

My spirituality... Christian. Baptised Episcopal, Confirmed Church of England. Preacher's kid & chorister. Prefer Anglo Catholic but currently living in a very Puritan county.... !

My relationship status... Divorced !

My relationship saga... Nutshell is: active & messy in the past; dormant verging on extinct in the present; almost certainly extinct in the future (probably a nun), unless any nice men here would care to save me from the veil? Expanded is several crushes until married at 23. Separated 3 years later, hubby came out to me 8 months after that. That was 7 years ago. Don't know why we haven't divorced yet. One or two flings since then have made me realise casual nookie is not for me, and that I'm not very good at relationships. !

My political leanings... slightly left !

My political views... Why haven't they provided a moderately left choice? I would be far left except for its violent revolution connotations. If you consider Jesus to be far left, then I guess I'm far left as well, ideally. Realistically I know we live in an imperfect world (poor are always with us etc). However, I believe we should strive to steward this planet's resources fairly for all of us, as we are all God's children. !

What makes me glad to be alive... We do not know the day or hour. Our lives are gifts, our very beings, bodies, minds, souls, hearts are gifts. At times it's hard to remember this and all too easy to take our existence for granted, but we should rejoice in our presence here and now. !

I believe this... I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. !
