My relationship saga... Previously married twice to an abuser, finally got smart & got out of that, got some good targeted counseling. Not currently in a relationship; I'm a pretty solitary person in general though I do like having good people in my life. Would like a good relationship with someone with similar interests & values, but I'm not one of those people who 'has to' be in a relationship all the time. !

My political leanings... slightly left !

My political views... Have always been interested in politics, but am appalled by a lot of what goes on. Essentially, in terms of issues, I guess I'd fall into the 'progresive' category for the most part. !

Proudest thing I ever did... Helped people learn to team w/ their 'hopeless' dogs & turn them into beloved, well-behaved companions, & working with shelter dogs to make them more adoptable. !

What Ive been up to lately... Working to overcome some of my limitations, reading a lot, watching spring come into its fullness (how terrific! & you can tell from this what time of year I wrote this), hanging out with friends. !

What drives me crazy... People who are intolerant, and people who grow up with one way of thinking and never question it. !

What makes me glad to be alive... My friends, animals, nature, having 'Dubya' out of office. !

I believe this... That humans have a great deal of potential, and that as a species we need to come to understand each other better, and that for the most part, worldwide, we all have the same needs and basic desires for our lives, and that everyone has the right to be able to live safely and with dignity. !
